2% Rotation #951: Saturday MLB 2% Philadelphia Phillies -173 vs New York Mets @ 4:08 ET - It is a miracle the Mets are here after the dramatic comeback in Milwaukee. I don't see them now getting past the Phillies in this series as they are very fortunate to even be here. Give them credit for sure but things will now get much tougher right out of the gate here as they have to face Phillies staff ace Zack Wheeler. Ever since Wheeler came to Philly from the Mets he has been a fantastic addition but this season he has been particularly dominant and he also is known for dominating when facing his former team. All of this adds up to great value here as Wheeler is not typically available at less than a $2 price when at home so we will risk 2% here on a solid money line value in the -175 range at the time of this posting. Wheeler went 10-3 with a 2.31 ERA at home this season and opponents hit only .186 against him in those outings. The Mets are going with Kodai Senga most likely here but he has only started 1 game this season and has been out much of the year with injuries. The Mets, in addition to Senga, might use David Peterson and Tylor Megill here but both Peterson and Megill struggled in recent action versus the Phillies. With how strong the Phillies have been at home and the fact they are rested here and have their rotation all lined up while the Mets are scrambling a bit…this all adds up to value here in Game 1.
