2% Take Seattle - Oakland First Five Innings UNDER (#913-914) (listed pitchers)

We saw 3, 3 and 7 runs scored in the last series between these two teams on this field, back in June. I’m expecting the starting pitchers to control the flow again today in what should be another low scoring game. This is a five inning wager on the total because the A’s bullpen cannot be trusted today (no closer). Logan Gilbert held Oakland to a single earned run in seven innings in his lone start against them this season and he’s in stellar current form, coming off a six inning ten strikeout shutout effort vs the Rays in his last start.  Impressive A’s youngster Osvaldo Bido allowed a grand total of five earned runs in his five August starts; giving up only 14 hits in 29 innings of work. The A’s bats finally cooled off over the weekend after a torrid run through late August; Seattle's anemic lineup has produced three runs or less ten times in their last 18 games.  And the unusual 4 PM local start time is no benefit for the batters. Expect the pitchers to rule this one, at least early!  Take the First Five Innings Under
