San Francisco played 13 games with Samuel, Williams and Christian McCaffery in the lineup last season and scored 30+ points nine times. When members of that trio are missing, the Niners' offense takes a notable dip. Aaron Rodgers is hopeful that Week 1 of the 2024 season goes a lot better than the opener of the 2023 season. Coming off a torn Achilles, Rodgers has plenty of pieces to work with and shouldn't be asked to carry too much of the offensive load. Mike Williams and Garrett Wilson form an intriguing receiver duo and Breece Hall is one of the best young running backs in the league. The first half of this game will likely serve as a glorified preseason contest as both offenses shake off some rust.
