It took a while, but we finally saw what the Falcons' offense is capable of in the latter stages of the Monday night win over the Eagles. Kirk Cousins was beaming with confidence during that two-minute drill, and perhaps that's what this Falcons offense needed. Throw the playbook out and let Kirk cook. When the Falcons start watching some film of what Joe Burrow was able to do against this Chiefs' defense last week, Cousins will likely feel confident that his offense can replicate some of those same things. On the other side, putting the Chiefs' speed-filled offense in a dome on turf is a scary proposition. Kansas City running back Isiah Pacheco suffered a broken leg in the team's narrow win over the Bengals, and while his absence will certainly be felt over the next two months, that makes us look even harder at the over in this contest. Pacheco was the between-the-tackles bell cow that could grind the clock and punish a defense. With him out of the lineup, that probably puts the ball in Patrick Mahomes' hands a little bit more. That doesn't necessarily sound like a bad problem to have. The Falcons' defense will be operating on a short prep time after playing on Monday, and we've got two of the best kickers in the game right now that are close to automatic.
