Jimmy Adams
(471) Las Vegas Raiders at (472) Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers have vastly underachieved in recent years mainly due to poor coaching. Enter Jim Harbaugh, fresh off a national championship at Michigan, but a coach who also has prior head coaching experience in the NFL. Harbaugh took the 49ers to the Super Bowl and brings a “run first” mentality to LA, who will bolster one of the best offensive lines in the league. The strong O-line is key because the running game will open things up for Justin Herbert, who is an elite talent.
The honeymoon is over for Antonio Pierce in Vegas after going a mediocre 5-4 as the interim HC. The Raiders have big question marks at quarterback, and it doesn’t help that Josh Jacobs departed for Green Bay. A win total sitting at 6.5 indicates oddsmakers don’t have much faith in them either and we’ll lock in this play now with the key number of 3. Take the Chargers.
