(773) Hamilton Tiger-Cats at (774) Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Hamilton Tiger-Cats +9.5 (-110)…(3%)
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have been a laughing stock of the league lately, there's no denying that - but this is one of those ‘bet numbers not teams’ scenarios and I love this number on Hamilton. Bo-Levi Mitchell will be back as the starting QB for Hamilton and this is his last shot to make an impression on the Ti-Cats coaching staff. There were high expectations on Bo-levi in the hammer, but they haven't been met - he lost his job to Taylor Powell, but right when Powell got the starting job he got injured, so now Bo will have one last shot this week to put on a show and I think he performs very well.
The Bombers are fresh off b2b major victories and this game against a dumpster fire team like Hamilton has FLAT SPOT written all over it. Winnipeg currently holds a 1-9 O/U record on the year, meaning their strength has been their DEFENCE and not as much their offence. When a team plays in a lot of lower scoring games, I see that as a benefit for the UNDERDOG, NOT the fave when they are laying 9.5 points.
Look for Hamilton to hang around in this one and do enough to keep it close.
