Jimmy Adams
(387) Boise State at (388) Oregon
Oregon messed around with Idaho for a little too long, but in the end took care of business. It’s important to note that although the Ducks let the Vandals hang, Dillion Gabriel was 41/49 and the team amassed 487 yards on 5.5 yards per play. The close game was a positive, as we can expect Dan Lanning to have his team more prepared when playing a quality opponent like Boise. Speaking of Boise, they scored 56 points yet couldn’t get the cover against Georgia Southern. It’s clear that the offense is way ahead of the D at this point, as allowing 45 to a lower-level team is simply unacceptable for this program. I haven’t downgraded Oregon like the betting market has and we’ll see an offensive showcase put on when they host BSU from Eugene. That being said, many people think Boise can make a run at the CFP, so they will definitely hold their own on offense as well. Take the OVER.
