(305) Georgia Tech at (306) Syracuse
Already sitting at 2-0, Georgia Tech has the chance to pick up their 2nd conference win on Saturday. It sure looks like the defense has improved from a season ago, allowing an average of 16.5 while scoring nearly 30 per game. Haynes King is a true, dual threat talent, and although the win over Florida State doesn’t look as big now, the Yellow Jackets have put themselves on the map in the early going. As far as playing on the road, keep in mind that there were way more FSU fans in Dublin than Yellow Jackets. This is a veteran group that retuned 8 starters on the offensive side of the ball. So far they’re averaging 7.2 yards per play and 5.93 yards per attempt on the ground. Syracuse is an interesting team because they brought in a top-40 recruiting class and a coach not many people thought was even in the running. They bring back experience as well, but that’s from a team that had a losing record both SU and ATS a season ago. We’ll go with good coaching, team chemistry, and a team we know can win away from home at a field goal. Take Georgia Tech.
