Ecuador at Brazil
South America World Cup Qualifying
Brazil will certainly look at this match as a chance to rebound from a disappointing Copa America tournament this past summer. The problem is Ecuador can play tough defense and will certainly pack it in against the heavy favorites.
I don't see Ecuador getting on the board here, so the question is, will Brazil score three? I don't think so.
Ecuador held Mexico, limited Argentina to just one goal and have held Brazil to just one goal in each of their last two meetings. When they are projected as large underdogs, they relish that role on the defensive end.
Brazil even struggled to score going back to the World Cup. This is not the same dominant team we have seen over the last decade.
