Jimmy Adams
(959) Minnesota Twins at (960) Tampa Bay Rays
The Twins will look for a split with Tampa Thursday behind Pablo Lopez, who is throwing as well as any pitcher in baseball. Lopez hasn’t allowed a run in any of his past 3 starts while throwing at least 6 innings in each. His metrics are great for the most part and given his current form he is clearly a “bet on” pitcher right now. The same cannot be said for Taj Bradley, who was just roughed up for 8 earned in just over 2 innings. Bradley has now allowed at least 5 earned in 4 of his past 5 starts and we can expect Minnesota to jump all over him. Take the Twins.
