(953) Philadelphia Phillies at (954) Miami Marlins
2% Take Miami (#953-954) (listed pitchers)
The Marlins are 4-3 in their last seven meetings with the Phillies, all four wins coming at +180 or higher – it’s not like Miami is completely outclassed here. The Marlins are in good current form; fresh off a walk-off win last night; 4-2 in their last six contests. Starter Adam Oller is coming off his best outing, a six inning, two hit shutout gem in San Francisco. Phillies starter Ranger Suarez has great season-long numbers (named to the All Star team), but he was scratched from that contest and hasn’t been the same since – ZERO quality starts since June. The Phillies are just 2-6 in his last eight outings, not exactly the track record I’m looking for from my $2+ favorites. Live dog here! Take the Marlins.
