Mark Zinno
(961) Los Angeles Angels at (962) Minnesota Twins
The Twins and Angels start a series at Target Field. David Festa goes for Minnesota. He continues to mow opposing hitters down. He's got 58 strikeouts in 47.1 innings on the season. The Angels have the 8th highest strikeout rate on the road since August 1st. The Angels are also bottom five in batting average on the road over that span. Minnesota's bats at home this year have very good. They are top 10 in OPS and wRC+. They will face Reid Detmers, who is making his second start off the IL. His first outing was excellent against the Dodgers, going 6 innings and striking out 10. The Angels are a fade team as they play out the string, while the Twins are in the thick of a pennant race. If Minnesota can't get up early, they are going to struggle the whoie game, so I expect that they will do their best to grab an early lead.
