(277) Seattle Seahawks at (278) New England Patriots
This is a classic overreaction game where a team that wasn't supposed to win week 1 will enter week two with a false sense of confidence. Of course the team at hand here is the Patriots. As more than 7.5 underdogs and practically everyone's guarantee loss in survivor pools, the Patriots looked rock solid and took down the Bengals 16-10.
The Seahawks won in week 1, but their win was messy, two safeties, some poor offensive play and sloppy mistakes made the game much closer than it needed to be, which is why I beleive they'll be focused in this game to have a much smoother game. I beleive the Pats defense will have more of a challenge this week, facing a balanced rushing and passing attack that does a good job of keeping teams guessing. The Seahawks saw Walker have a great day on the ground, but also saw several big plays from Geno Smith.
The Patriots shocked people in week 1, but reality will set in for them week 2.
