(287) Pittsburgh Steelers at (288) Denver Broncos
We have the ultimate defensive slugfest on the way when the Broncos welcome Pittsburgh to one of the loudest environments in the NFL. Denver was leading the Seahawks 13-9 on the road at halftime before making some costly mistakes in the 2nd half. Everyone talks about how good the Steelers’ D is, and while that is true, this Denver unit is very underrated. Not only did they play well last week, but the Broncos' defense allowed just 16 points per game in mid-October through December of last year. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh hasn’t scored a touchdown yet this season, kicking all field goals in their win over Atlanta. Bo Nix made some rookie mistakes in his debut, but he is an elite level talent who is overlooked by some of the “bigger names” in the draft. There is a reason he won the starting job under Sean Payton. As far as the quarterback situation for the Steelers, Justin Fields will make mistakes and Russell Wilson will play it safe. Remember that Denver paid him 85 million just to get out of town. The underdog is 9-2-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings between these teams and we’ll put the points in our pocket with the “live dog” on Sunday. Take the Broncos.
