Corey Conners Top 40 -340

Conners has been a Top 40 machine finishing Top 40 in 17 out of 21 tournaments, and also a 9th at The Olympics.  This is a really bad field where Conners is #1 in total strokes gained the L3 months in this field, and outside of him, Wyndham Clark, and Sahith Theegala, there aren’t many solid golfers in the field.  This is a course that requires accuracy off the tee and Conners is very accurate off the tee and with his irons, and with him being #1 T2G, I think this course sets up great for him.  His putting hasn’t been great, but with this weak of a field, I don’t think it will prevent him from a really good finish.

Texans -258 ML v Bears

Going to fade the Bears after their somewhat miracle win against Tennessee where Caleb Williams only threw for 93 yards, and the offense couldn’t score a TD.  The Texans look like AFC contenders as their offense was incredible against the Colts passing for 234 and 2 TD’s and rushing for 213 yards (5.3 yards per carry).  Their defense played well against a good Colts offense, and outside of a few long completions from Richardson, they held him mostly in check.  The Bears defense will be tough to score on, but the Bears offense is going to take a while to get going this season, and I don’t see Williams playing great on the road in prime time.  It’s a big spread, but we’ll just take the Texans to win outright.
