(141) West Virginia at (142) Pittsburgh
West Virginia was manhandled at home by Penn State 34-12 in their season opener. They did bounce back by easily defeating Albany who plays at the FCS level 49-14. However, the win didn't come without concerns as Albany piled up 374 yards of total offense in the contest and includes 306 yards passing. Considering Pittsburgh had a combined 668 yards passing in wins over Kent State and at Cincinnati on the way to a 2-0 start, it surely is a reason for West Virginia fans to be anxious about their defense in this matchup.
Pitt will be riding the momentum of last week's 28-27 win at Cincinnati in which they overcame a 27-14 deficit in the 4th quarter. The Panther also defeated Kent State 55-24 in their season opener. The Panthers rang up an impressive 1055 yards of total offense during those 2 wins.
Give me Pittsburgh plus points.
