River Plate have been struggling for quite some time now, despite having a very good roster, and it's probably a managerial thing, as they have been really mediocre since the change in coach 6 matches ago (W2 D4 L0). And two of those wins were in the Copa Libertadores Round of 16 against a bad Talleres Cordoba side, and the other win was against another bad team, Sarmiento Junin, scoring the winning goal at the 87th minute. 

Now River are playing host to a very dangerous Atletico Tucuman side, who are in extremely good form right now, winning 6 of L/7 (W6 D0 L1) and keeping 5 clean sheets in that span, and losing just 1 of L/11 (W6 D4 L1), with that sole loss came by exactly 1 goal. 

Atletico Tucuman forced a goal-less draw against River Plate in the Copa de La Liga back in February, and they have now lost just 2 of L/9 H2H against River Plate (W1 D6 L2), with both losses coming by exactly 1 goal. So there's bound to be some distraction and some rotation from River, who are NOT playing good soccer under the new coach. Plus, they also have a huge derby against Boca Juniors next Saturday, and then the second leg against Colo Colo. A tough schedule for River Plate. Atletico Tucuman definitely have what it takes to stay competitive in this game, and we are backing them with the spread in what looks like a tight game.
