4% Rotation #917: MLB Saturday 4% OVER 8 -105 in Detroit Tigers vs Baltimore Orioles @ 6:05 ET - The Tigers are starting Ty Madden or perhaps an opener like Beau Brieske in the prior long outing that Madden had. Either way, he is likely to get the bulk of the work and I like the over in this spot. Madden is over-rated right now because 2 of his 3 outings were against Oakland and the White Sox. Those two teams are a far cry from this Orioles lineup! Also, the Tigers will surprise and hit well here. Corbin Burnes has not been right for some time. I know he managed to escape major damage in his last two outings but those were both a bit shaky and his strikeout numbers are down. Also, Burnes had a very ugly August in which he went 1-3 with a 7.36 ERA in his 5 starts! We get a low total because of the long-term reputation of Burnes and the fact Madden is a bit over-rated right now. Of course Tigers games are known for being lower-scoring too but all these factors have given us great value here in a game that should get to double digits in runs! Prior to yesterday's 1-0 win, Detroit had averaged 6 runs scored in last 8 games. Also, the Orioles have been more quiet than usual at the plate of late but this is a potent lineup facing an inexperienced hurler and is the perfect spot for them to get back on track. 4% OVER 8 -105 in Detroit
