NFL Rotation #272: NFL Sunday 3% Green Bay Packers Money Line +125 vs Indianapolis Colts @ 1 ET - This line shot up to as high as Indy -3.5 after the Jordan Love injury. Of course 3 is the most important key number in NFL so what happened after that tells us quite a lot. The line moved down to a 3 and then a 2.5 and now there are even some books out there that have the Colts favored by just 2 as of very early game day morning. The fact is that moving off the 3 is very telling and I like the Packers plenty in this spot which is why I am going money line here as we should not even need the points. The Colts are over-rated in this spot. They just played a division rival and yes they lost by just 2 on the scoreboard but they scored a late TD to lose by just 2 points instead of losing by 9. Also first downs were 26-14 in favor of Houston in the game. The Colts were just 9 of 19 passing and the Texans were 24 of 32 passing! Also, Houston had more than twice as much rushing yardage as did Indianapolis in that one! As you can see, the 2 point loss is a deceiving final score compared to the reality of who was the much stronger team in that match-up. Not only that, the game was in Indy! Not only that, they now catch Packers (in Green Bay!) angry off a loss and ready to rally around their back-up QB Malik Willis in this one. Even though GB lost in Week 1 they faced a solid Eagles team and it was a Friday game in Brazil. So they have had extra time to rest and prepare for this game and to help Willis get acclimated to the offense and the playbook. He has a talented group of receivers and a strong ground game which should certainly help get things going again for the GB offense in his first game under center. The Packers yardage was equal with the Eagles and that is a solid Philly team they faced with high expectations this season. I am not sold on this Colts team and some of what I saw against the Texans is concerning for sure. As for The Pack, in the first game after a star is injured, there can be a “rally the troops” mentality and I feel strongly that you are going to see a strong concerted effort from the Pack on both sides of the ball in this one. This includes a very physical effort in the trenches which is so important in establishing dominance in a game. The Packers bring their A game here and the Colts are over-rated as the stats in the Texans game show the true early season level of play for Indianapolis. Take advantage of a line that got over-adjusted by the betting markets because of the Love injury. 3% GREEN BAY PACKERS +125
