3% L.A. Rams @ Arizona
Thoroughly impressed with offensive effort by Arizona on the road at Buffalo last Sunday which had 4 scoring drives of 58-71 yards. Observation heightened by Bills strong defensive performance vs. high octane Miami on Monday night. Combination suggests Cardinals can have yardage & scoreboard success in this one especially with the healthy added threat of QB Kyler Murray’s dual threat playmaking. Rams defense didn’t have that threat vs Detroit in their opener so task is more difficult here. Conversely the Cardinals defense was abysmal against Buffalo’s offense with receiving corps that was ravaged during free agency. Bills able to post 34 points including a 2Q-early 4Q stretch where they scored on 5 of 6 possessions. LA OL down pair of starters and offense also without key WR Puka Nacua (IL) but DL & secondary not Cardinals strength areas. Ground game with RB Kyren Williams capable of exploiting Arizona and setting up play action where WR Cooper Kupp (14 receptions LW) & capable supporting cast can do damage. Meeting here last year with Murray at QB registered 51 points and this one likely gets there as well.
