Rayo Vallecano are 3-1 to the Over 2.5 goals in the La Liga so far, with their only Under being a goal-less draw against the tighest team in the league (Getafe). They have quality up front, and they added some more with Colombian international James Rodriguez, who was great with this national team once again in the recent break, and he is expected to play in this match (probably as a sub). 

Osasuna are coming off a 3-2 win against Celta, prior to that they lost to Girona by 4-0, a 1-0 win against the always tight Mallorca, and a 1-1 draw against Leganes in the premiere, in a match that could easily have had at least one more goal. 
Rayo Vallecano have a tough schedule coming up, hosting Atletico Madrid and then visiting Girona, a duo of matches where they could easily get zero points, so if they don't beat Osasuna here they might find themselves in the relegation zone early in the season. 

Osasuna are a bit more comfortable with 7 points already, and they have (theoretically) easy matches coming up against Las Palmas and Valencia, but they also have matches against Barcelona, Betis, Real Sociedad and Real Madrid until the next break, so any point is welcome. And they've been playing really good offensively so far, they will get their chances against Rayo.
