5% Rotation #905: MLB 5% OVER 8.5 -120 in Miami Marlins vs Los Angeles Dodgers @ 6:40 ET - As I mentioned yesterday in my write-up involving Game 1 of this series, Miami entered this series off a dreadful road trip where they did not score well but this followed the Marlins scoring 5 runs per game in their last 14 home games. They are a much better hitting club when at home. As for the Dodgers, they entered this series having scored 5.6 runs per game last 18 games. Now, after an 11-9 Marlins win yesterday, look for the bats to again be the story tonight on Wednesday. I like the fact that, as of early gameday morning (4:55 AM ET) we can still get this total below the key number of 9. Even if the total does end up moving higher, absolutely we should see double digits here again in this one after yesterday's 20-run outburst also required a lot of bullpen work from both sides as well. Note that Miami is expected to start Ryan Weathers here. He is returning from 60 days on the IL with a finger injury. Though is last rehab start in the minors was a good one, he also did allow 6 earned runs in 8.1 innings in his last two appearances at the MLB level. Also the Dodgers did already see him earlier this season and got to him for 3 earned runs in 6 innings in that one. They will hit him even better this time around in a second look at him this season and LA has scored exactly 9 runs in 3 straight games! Not only that, the Marlins have had 4 straight home games total more than 10 runs! Miami will take advantage of facing the Dodgers Landon Knack here as he has struggled more on the road than at home this season. In his last 4 outings away from home, Knack has allowed 10 earned runs on 21 hits in 15 innings! The Marlins have been hitting well at home and the Dodgers hit well everywhere and the situation and line value is perfect to raise this play to my highest rating Wednesday! Two perfect trends tested here as the Dodgers are 4-0 to the over last 4 games and the Marlins are 4-0 to the over last 4 home games!
