The Royals are in danger of getting swept at home by the Tigers. Tarik Skubal is on the mound. On the surface, this looks bad for KC. But Skubal hasn't been great against the Royals this season. He's got a 4.91 ERA in 18.1 innings pitched over 3 starts. He gave up 17 hits, 10 runs and walked five. The Royals bats are considerably better at home. KC starter Alec Marsh gets 5.57 runs of support per start and the Royals are 15-8 when is on the mound. KC can't get swept here as they have just a 1.5 game lead over over the Twins in the wild card race. There's a good chance that the Royals win this one outright, but I won't pass up the 1.5 on the run line here.
