Using alternate total here as well. All five of Barcelona's matches this season have reached at least three goals and I don't think I have to explain too much as to how this team plays. Take possession, work the ball across the field, find Lewandowski, fire away. As they press, they are often vulnerable at the back and have conceded in four of five matches, which doesn't worry them, as they just score more. A perfect 5-0 start to La Liga is all they could have asked for at this point.
Meanwhile Monaco finished 2nd in Ligue 1 last year to PSG and have gotten off to a fast 3-1-0 start this season. They have done it a little differently conceding just one goal in four matches while scoring 1, 2, 1, and 3. While that works against teams like Auxerre and St. Etienne, its more than reasonable to suggest that strategy might not be the best against Barcelona.
While is was a preseason friendly, Monaco did score three goals against Barcelona just before the season started last month, so they should take confidence into this match. Lineups were strong for both teams in that game.
