The Gunners were oh so close to an EPL title last season, falling two points shy of Man City.  While their offense gets a lot of attention, scoring 91 goals in 38 matches, again, second only to Man City, it was their defense that really was to thank as their 29 goals conceded was the fewest in the league.  

This season, Arsenal has three wins and a draw, conceding only one goal, while all four matches have stayed Under 2.5 goals including good squads Aston Villa, Brighton and Tottenham.

Atalanta won the Europa League last season beating Leverkusen in the final and ruining their invincible season.  This season they have two wins and two draws, struggling defensively as they have allowed eight goals in their last three matches.  

League play in Serie A is a little different than this UCL matchup though and I think we will see it play out similarly to their Super Cup match against Real Madrid to open the season where they lost 0-2.  They setup defensively knowing they were out-gunned and were able to keep Madrid off the board until the second half before ultimately conceding twice.  It is definitely their best chance in this match as well.
