The Mets are well rested, while the Phillies travel from Milwaukee where they lost 2-of-3 in that series. Philly still has a comfortable 7 game lead in the NL East, while the Mets are tied with Arizona for the final Wild Card spot. Taijuan Walker will get the start for Philly, and his season has been a disaster. He's 0-2 with an 8.47 ERA in his last five appearances, three of those out of the bullpen. He also allowed five home runs in just 17 innings in those games. The Mets hand the ball to Luis Severino, who is 6-2 with a 2.86 ERA at home, and 2-0 with a 3.07 ERA in his last five starts. He allowed three runs on three hits with 5 Ks in six innings in his only start versus Philly this year, but it's worth noting that only one of those runs came in the first five innings.
