(301) New England Patriots at (302) New York Jets: Rhamondre Stevenson Rushing Attempts O/U
Thursday Night Football is the Jets and Patriots in New Jersey. Stevenson has had 46 attempts through the first two games and first-year head coach Jerod Mayo seems committed to the run at this point. I know there are a lot of injuries to the Patriots O-line, but yards isn't an issue here. The Jets run defense through two games has been anything but stout as they've allowed 155 yards per game over the first two. So even with the injuries, there should be some room for Stevenson to go. Plus, throwing into the Jets secondary with Jacoby Brissett seems like a less than optimal game plan. Given the low total in this game, I have to believe that both teams are fixated on running. The biggest detraction from this play is if the Jets get a two-score lead in the first half. The Patriots have not trailed by more than 4 in the first two games.
