(195) Minnesota at (196) Michigan
Minnesota travels to Ann Arbor to face Michigan. The Wolverines are off a big win over ranked USC last week and should be in a bit of a let down spot. The Michigan defense is leading the way. They held USC to just 3 points in the first half last week. IT's fair to say that the USC offense is markedly better than the Gophers, so the Wolverines should be able to contain them. Gophers QB Max Brosmer completed a season-low 59% of his passes last week against a solid Iowa defense. Brosmer has only thrown for over 210 passing yards in one game this year. The Gophers defense is top 10 the nation in total defense allowing just 233 yards per game and a tiny 3.99 yards per play. The Wolverines offense has its struggles and is very run-heavy. After three weeks of seeing the field sparingly as the backup quarterback, Alex Orji was thrust into the starting role against USC. He went 7-12 for 32 yards. I don't expect much more from him this week. I locked this play in on Monday and the 20.5 is gone. The game total has dropped with good reason. 17.5 is the current number, which carries more risk, but I still think is playable, just at a smaller percent.
