(905) New York Mets at (906) Atlanta Braves
The Mets and Braves start a big three-game series in Atlanta to possibly decide the wild card in the National League. The Braves start Spencer Schwellenbach, who has been very consistent since the All-Star break. He's only allowed more than 3 earned runs just once at home since July 1st. I expect that he will be good tonight as his team's season is on the line as the Mets are top 10 in strikeout rate on the road since August 1st. The Mets start Luis Severino. He's been better than expected. He's allowed just 2 runs in each of his two starts against the Mets through 5 innings. The Braves bats are suspect at best. He's also allowing opposing hitters to bat just .190 against him the first time through the order this season.
