Malmo are coming off a bad 2-0 home loss to Rangers mid-week and are still struggling with consistency at this point in the season. There are two reasons for that, number 1 is that they are somewhat comfortably sitting at the top of their domestic league (8 points ahead of the 2nd), which allows them to shift their focus to reason number 2, which is their involvement in the mid-week European matches. They now play host to Mjallby on Sunday, just days prior to a very demanding trip to Azerbaijan where they will be hosted by Qarabag in Match Day 2 of the Europa League.

Mjallby are coming into this match in solid form, unbeaten in L/7 (W3 D4 L0), and being rather solid on the road, in the sense that they have a W4 D3 L6 away record in all competitions this season, with 4 of 6 losses coming by exactly 1 goal (which means that if we take Mjallby +1.25 and they lose by exactly one, we still get half a win and half a push).

Mjallby have been a pain in Malmo's behind for quite some time now, beating them in each of L/3 matches and losing just 2 of L/9 H2H against them (W4 D3 L2). Mjallby are making a push in the final third of the season in order to reach the top-3 spots that grant a ticket to the European competitions next season, they are 5 points behind and they need a lot of results to go their way, but they can surely upset Malmo here, who are in-between their European matches and comfortably sitting 8 points ahead in the title race.

We took our shot in fading Malmo last week and it didn't go well, but we also did that earlier in the season prior to Malmo's mid-week European matches with a lot of success. Taking it slower this week, although Mjallby are in much better shape that Hacken last week.

Take 2% on Mjallby +1.25 (-125), which is a split line between Mjallby +1 and Mjallby +1.5
