Analysis

Could see this +4.5 across the board soon but Caesars is there as are many of the off shore spots so I will lock that in.  Honestly I think the Aces probably win here.

Analysis: We are somewhat playing with house money up over 20 units in the WNBA this season so I'm going with my gut here.

Coming into the season I felt like this was the likely final but still had the Aces as the clear best team.  Based on full season results the Liberty clearly hold that distinction but the Aces had some issues pre-Olympics that have been fixed and recently I see two very even teams.

Vegas had won 11 of 12 prior to Sunday's 87-77 loss and I think we just need to tip the cap here to Breanna Stewart for an insane 34 point effort that helped the Liberty pull away in Game 1.  The Liberty hit in insane 50 percent from the field against an Aces team that's sound defensively but replicating that in a spot where Las Vegas has their backs to the wall won't be an easy task.

On the other hand I see a path to improved numbers for the Aces, Las Vegas didn't shoot it well in the first half and it forced Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray into difficult perimeter shots rather than playing through A'ja in the post.  Kiah Stokes was a complete non-factor and I think we see Las Vegas use Alysha Clark in a primary role in Game 2 as the Aces were simply better when she was on the floor with the “Big 4”.

Las Vegas has lacked effort at times, that was more apparent pre-Olympics when the team looked completely unfocused but there were stretches in Game 1 where the Liberty were just quicker on the glass and on loose balls.  The Liberty got away with 14 turnovers thanks to a lethal 50% clip from the field but the Aces got off 7 more shots so there's a real possibility things even out here.

Betnijah Laney-Hamilton did nothing on Sunday and Ionescu and Jones were right around their averages which means there's no way the Liberty win, let alone by margin, without the Stewart outburst.  Again, these are two ELITE teams but my gut tells me tonight it's A'ja Wilson going off and the Aces likely get the money here.

Play on Aces +4.5 (-110) for 4% (or 4 units)
