However, this club did that in their most recent match outside of EPL action and still ended up scoring 5 goals. They have a huge talent and depth edge over most all of the other clubs in this competition and from all I have read and heard on this, Chelsea is “going for it” in terms of hoping to win this title. That said, they are a heavy favorite here in League Stage action with good reason here but note that they did allow 2 goals over the weekend in their premier league match. I do expect Gent to find the back of the net at least once and I am looking for a 3-1 type final though a 4-0 Chelsea shellacking would not shock me either! Chelsea has scored an average of 4 goals per match last 3 matches across all competitions. Gent has scored at least 1 goal in 9 straight matches across all competitions and has averaged 2.2 goals scored per match during this stretch.
