953 Detroit at Cleveland

We have been extremely impressed by the way the Tigers have played down the stretch. A team with one outstanding starter, and an overall good set of arms backing him up. Every player knows their role, and it’s worked out very well for a team lacking great hitting. This is a confident bunch who with the extra days off, can reset their rotation. 

Tanner Bibee is considered the ace of this Cleveland rotation. But he would likely be a 2 or 3 starter on just about every other team. He owns a 3.47 ERA and 1.12 WHIP, yet his xERA is 3.80. In fact, in his two year career his xERA has shown the righty to be a little bit lucky with his results. 

Road teams dominated the Wild Card round as we expected. And we have seen as of late, teams with rest have struggled in this round. Cleveland should be about a 120 to 125 favorite by our numbers, which clearly gives us value on the visitor.
