That said, I am also backing them to win here again and make it B2B wins for the first time since mid-June. Indeed the Yankees have really struggled for an extended stretch now but taking 2 out of 3 from the rival Red Sox would be just what the doctor ordered to get them going again and I like this pitching match-up for the Yankees in this one. New York has Luis Gil on the mound and his numbers have regressed lately but his last strong start came against the Red Sox. Look for him to again give Boston trouble here. Also, other than a nightmare outing recently versus the Orioles, Gil has allowed only 46 hits in 88.1 innings on the season! That is phenomenal. As for Kutter Crawford, he is off a solid road start but it was at light-hitting Miami. In his most recent two road starts prior to that he got hit hard both times. More of the same expected here and I am taking advantage of a fair price here on the Yankees to finally win a series again. Look for Gil to bounce back on the hill in this one.
