THE PLAY: Carolina Panthers +4.0 (-110)
I backed the Bears in last Sunday's 24-18 victory over the Rams. I'm not convinced they're ready to be laying more than a field goal this week though. While they've been finding ways to win, the Bears are only averaging 253 yards of offense, per game. That's the lowest mark in the NFC. (Carolina averages 291.) The Panthers looked terrible in their first two games but they've looked much better since. They defeated the Raiders in their last road game. Last week, they gave a desperate Bengals team all that it could handle. These teams faced each other here last season. It was close the entire way. The Panthers were up 10-9 at halftime and the Bears ultimately won 16-13. This should be another close one. Grab the points.
