The Tigers survived a scare last week to win 36-33 at South Carolina. They should follow it up with a blowout win over UCLA. The Bruins just got crushed 42-13 at home by Indiana. The Hoosiers are solid but they're not LSU. Really, the Bruins are staring a losing streak in the face. After this, they've got Oregon and then they play at Penn State. Last week will serve as a wake-up call for LSU; the Tigers haven't forgotten that UCLA beat them in September of 2021. They should be happy to run up the score. I like them up to -24.

The Diamondbacks are off a wild win on Sunday and should carry the positive momentum into this one. Arizona jumped off to a 5-0 lead yesterday. Suddenly, the Dbax found themselves down 8-5 into the late innings. They refused to say die though and rallied to force an 8-8 tie and extra innings. Things didn't look good when they gave up two runs in the top of the 10th. Once again, the Dbax rallied. This time, they got three runs in the bottom of the 10th to win 11-10. Today, it's Merril Kelly on the mound. He's 4-0 with a 4.26 ERA and 1.25 WHIP through 10 starts. Senzatela goes for the Rockies and he hasn't started a game since May of 2023. His minor league rehab numbers weren't very good and he'll likely be a work in progress. Look for the Dbax to make it two in a row.
