THE PLAY: 1H Philadelphia Phillies -0.5 (-110) T Bradley (RHP), R Suarez (LHP) Must Start

The Phillies took their opener with Tampa at home Monday, making them winners of 7 of 9 as they continue to hold a commanding lead in the NL East. This is an offense that ranks 1st in runs scored, batting average, as well as OPS over the past week as of Monday evening. They also have Ranger Suarez taking the hill for game 2, fresh off 5 shutout innings last time out. Suarez enters with a wOBA of .274 on the season and ranks near the top of the league in several key metrics. Meanwhile, Taj Bradley has been batting practice for opposing lineups, having given up 4 earned of more in 6 of his past 7 starts. Expect Philly to be leading this one halfway through. Take the Phillies F5 RL. 

THE PLAY: Washington Commanders -135

The Commanders may have lost in Week 1, but make no mistake, the Giants are the worst team by a fairly wide margin in the NFC East. New York managed just 6 points and gave up 28 to a lower level NFL team playing their backup quarterback. Daniel Jones had 2 picks and a QBR of 17.4 behind a weak, retooled offensive line. They couldn’t pressure the quarterback either, so this could be a breakout game for rookie Jayden Daniels, who has plenty of weapons around him and also the ability to escape the pocket. He rushed for 88 yards in the Bucs game. Washington needs to tighten things up on the defensive end, but that won’t be a problem against this inept group. Take the Commanders. 

THE PLAY: South Carolina +8.0 (-110)

It's yet to be determined just how good this LSU team is, as thus far we’ve seen them lose to USC on a neutral and pick up a win against Nicholls. What we do know is they have some in game “maturity” to work on as far as focus, which HC Brian Kelly talked about after week 1. It’s hard to win on the road in the SEC against any opponent, but South Carolina just went to Lexington and won 31-6, putting them at 2-0 on the young season. The Gamecocks have a talented and athletic quarterback in LaNorris Sellers, and the defense is holding opponents to just 12.5 points per game on 3.61 yards per play. Give me the home team catching a touchdown in Columbia on Saturday. Take South Carolina.
