Relegation battle in Belgium on Saturday, when bottom-feeders Beerschot (11 points) will play host to #14 Kortrijk (17 points), and we like the home side here, despite the fact that Kortrijk just changed their coach.

Beerschot have been really hard to beat at home over the last 2 months, actually unbeaten in L/7 (W3 D4 L0), and that includes a 2-1 win against #4 Antwerp, a 2-2 draw against #2 Club Brugge and a 0-0 draw against #5 Gent.

Kortrijk are in terrible shape with 5 losses in L/7 in all competitions (W0 D2 L5), which prompted the sacking of their coach. But the new coach only had a limited amount of time to work with the team and he surely can't do much to change how they play in such a short timeframe. He will surely use the winter break to work on this team, but until then we are treating them as the terrible away side that they are (W1 D1 L7). They have scored just 6 away goals and have conceded 24 in the process, losing each of L/5 on the road and conceding 3+ goals in all 5, getting outscored by 17-2 in that span.

This would've been a 3-4% bet if Kortrijk hadn't changed their coach, but we still believe in the home side to get some points here, as they've been very good at home lately and they are running out of time, so matches against teams like Kortrijk is exactly where they should get points from.
