Nevada is off three straight losses. The last two came by 17 and 21 points, vs. Colorado State and at Hawaii. The Broncos are much stronger than either of those opponents. They just beat SDSU by 32 points. They've won six straight and five of those were by 21 or more. The last meeting resulted in a 41-3 win for the Broncos. This should be another one-sided blowout.

THE PLAY: Gonzaga -4.5 (-108)

This is a rematch of the 2021 national championship game. As per usual, both these very well-coached teams are going to be strong again this year. Each is ranked in the top 10. I think Gonzaga will have the edge to start the season. While the Bulldogs return four starters and have a great deal of depth, the Bears return one starter. Gonzaga has seen the Bears once since the 2021 game, at the “Peacock Classic” at Sioux Falls, in 2022. Baylor closed that game on a 8-0 run to win by a single point. This time, the Bulldogs get to face the Bears at Spokane. Expect them to get some payback.
