THE PLAY: Viktor Arvidsson UNDER 0.5 points -154

Love the price on this play. Arvidsson only has a point in 2 out of 11 games this season, and one game was against the Penguins where the Oilers scored 4 goals and another was a game against the Preds where they scored 5 goals. In the game against the Preds, Conor McDavid did not play, and he was just announced as active tonight. That's important because Ardvisson moved into the first line, and in particular on the first line in the power play where the Oilers get a lot of production. Now that he'll be back on the second line, I see limited scoring opportunities, and the Golden Knights have won 6 out of 7 games so I don't think Edmonton will be lighting up the scoreboard. We'll take Arvidsson to not have a point tonight.

THE PLAY: Purdue Total Under 7.5 (-155)

Playing Purdue under their team total has been a cash cow as they've gone under in 6 out of 8 games this season, and even though this 7.5 is a very low number, I don't think they can score on Ohio State. They put up 20 last week against Northwestern going under their 23.5 team total, and before that they were shut out against Oregon. They had a huge point total against Illinois, but that's certainly the exception. They scored 6 against Wisconsin and 7 against Notre Dame, so that's 3 games this season that they've gone under this 7.5. Ohio State has allowed 10 TD's all year and only Army and Texas are allowing fewer points per game. Purdue is 125th in the nation in scoring, and they aren't in the same class as Ohio State. Maybe they get a late score in the 4th quarter, but getting multiple scores seems unlikely. Take the under.
