THE PLAY: Mike Evans Receiving Yards O/U Over 80.5 (-125)

Did you catch Baker Mayfield’s comments the other day concerning WR Mike Evans? For those of you who may have missed it, Evans needs 251 more yards receiving (in three games) to reach 1,000 for the 11th consecutive year. Evans is the only player in league history to start a career with 10 straight 1,000+ yard seasons and extended that record would tie him with the legendary Jerry Rice for the most consecutive 1,000 yard seasons ever.

So, back to Mayfield, who said “I’m thinking about it more than Mike is.” After the Bucs’ QB said that, Evans’ receiving yards prop for this game vs. the Cowboys shot up to 80.5. I’d still take the Over at that number. Evans needs to average at least 84 yards each of these next three games to get to 1,000. He had 159 yards last week vs. the Chargers. Getting another 1,000 yard season obviously means something to both Evans and Mayfield. Don't think the Dallas' defense should provide much resistance.
