THE PLAY: Utah Jazz +6.5 (-115)

Admittedly, the Jazz have been terrible at home this season. Their 2-12 record at the Delta Center is by far the worst home record in the entire NBA. However, they've only played four games here since the start of December. Three of those were decided by single-digits, two of them by three points or less. The other was an 11-point loss to the Nuggets and the Jazz were leading at halftime of that game. In other words, despite their poor overall record here, the Jazz have quietly been very competitive here for more than a month. Tonight, the Jazz return home with some real positive momentum. In fact, they're off back-to-back blowout wins at Miami and Orlando. They've been missing some players but others are stepping up. (Brice Sensabaugh scored 34 on Saturday and followed it up with 27 more on Sunday.) They'll face a third straight team from the Southeast tonight. The Hawks, who always seem to be dealing with their own injuries, are off three straight losses. I don't feel that they currently deserve to be laying this many points on the road, even at Utah.
