I absolutely love this bet. Let me bottom line this. When I am betting -1.5s (which I almost never do), I am looking to bet on a team that can score 5-6 goals on any given night and against a team that struggles to get to 3 and more often than not get 1 or 2 max. This is that game and the spot is really good for Boston as well. First off the Bruins are coming off a loss that has to taste very bitter. They need mouthwash asap and the brand on Monday are the SJ Sharks. SJ has scored 1 goal a game - yes 1 goal in 5 of their last 6 games. They have scored 1 or less goals in 6 of their last 10 and have scored over 2 goals twice in their last 10. These are just horrible horrible numbers. They also lose most of their games and have just lost 2 in a row and 4 of their last 5. This team just cannot score and cannot stop goals, plus they have only won 14 games this season. The Bruins are scoring right now, putting up 15 goals in their last 3 games. I think we see them score 5 again here and there is just no way SJS gets to 4 - frankly, I would be amazed if SJ gets to 3. Boston will get 4-6 and SJ 1-2. This will be a blowout.
