As of Wednesday afternoon, however, they're the slightest of favorites for Thursday's game vs. Chicago. Whether or not they actually close as favorites, I like the Sharks' chances of making the most of their opportunity. Note that the Sharks have outshot four straight opponents and that they've been close to breaking through with a victory. The Hawks are somewhat respectable at Chicago but they're a dreadful 7-26 on the road. The home team won both games when these teams faced each other back in October. Home ice proves the difference, once again.
