THE PLAY: Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 (-118) Action

It’s the Phillies’ home opener on Monday and they have the pleasure of hosting the Rockies, who are far and away the worst team in the NL West. Not only does Colorado have a terrible lineup, but their starting pitching is awful as well. That includes German Marquez, who hasn’t pitched much the last 2 seasons, but he’s someone who gets hit extremely hard. Cristopher Sanchez did pitch last season and was great. His off-speed run value was in the 100th percentile, and his chase percentage was as good as anyone in the league. Sanchez is also an extreme ground ball pitcher. Philly has some serious threats in their lineup and they’ll tee off on Marquez in the first game in front of the home fans. Take the Phillies RL.
