THE PLAY: Toronto Blue Jays -155 M Soroka (RHP), B Francis (RHP) Must Start
The Jays managed to split their series against Baltimore. I like their chances in today's series opener vs. Washington. Francis was 8-5 with a 3.30 ERA overall last season. He did his best work in the second half as he was 5-3 with a 1.80 ERA and dominant 0.60 WHIP after the All Star Break. He'll look to carry the momentum into this season and he should get solid support in this one. Soroka goes for Washington and he was 0-10 with a 4.74 ERA, while pitching for Chicago, last season. Note that Soroka also had a 7.47 ERA this spring. Let's go Blue Jays.
