Going back to last fall, Hodges has just one missed cut over his last ten starts, but has more than half, six, Top-20 finishes including a T11 last week at the Houston Open. He is gaining strokes in all five categories this season which is notable as he was horrendous last summer with the flatstick as he had lost strokes putting in 12 straight starts.

This year he is averaging +0.81 SG Putting which ranks 4th in this field. Pretty remarkable turnaround.

His irons have always been solid, gaining strokes on Approach in every start this season and his driver, which is about average as far as distance goes, is extremely accurate which limits his chances of making the big number. TPC San Antonio has tree-lined fairways and while the rough is not super long at 2.5”, there are plenty of native grass areas reaching 6” or more.

As is usually the case, T2G will be important this week and Hodges has it going on starting with his tee shot.

Borrman has been around golf his entire life and eventually found his career working in the golf business as a Class A PGA Professional. Borrman has taught golf to all levels for the last 20 years and uses his vast knowledge of the game of golf and applies it to PGA Tour picks. Borrman also carved out a name for himself, betting on soccer. He was an original writer on podbet.com, posting detailed write-ups of his picks and he has been actively giving out free picks and analysis on soccer matches for several years through his Twitter handle @Borrman00.
