Nice win by Cincy against the Giants on Sunday night and especially their D who has been horrible all year. But I guess nothing can fix a D like playing the Giants - oh wait, playing the Browns can.
I want to give you guys some perspective of how bad Watson and the Browns O is.
51% of their possessions end in punts. They average a league worst 19.5 yards per possession. Since 2000, Cleveland is tied for 784 out of 798 teams for how many time they have been in the red zone. 9 times this year in 6 games - omg. At one point in the Philly game the Brows were 1 for 27 in 3rd down conversions. There is only one team since 2000 worse on 3rd downs than them.
Watson has been sacked more than anyone in the league and many are his fault. he has the lowest
The Browns have averaged 16 points per game so far this season for 3rd worst in football - but they are getting Chubb back which should help.
With that said, if I a had a last name Chubb or well anyone - i wouldn’t even show up. What a total waste of great football years for some of these guys.
Even their D is mediocre and well frankly, there is no-way I can bet this team.
I know Cincy has had their issues, but they put together a great D game last week against the NYG. I know one would say but its the NYG - guess what Clevelands offense is way worse.
They couldn’t score 1 TD on offense last week and made it to the red zone once.
If the Bengals are going to get back in the race then these are the games they must win.
