The Nets blew out the Blazers last night. Stepping up in class and playing their second road game in two nights, they're likely to be on the other side of a blowout tonight. The last time that the Nets were off a victory, they lost their next game by 29 points. The Clippers had last night off, after beating Miami by double-digits on Monday. They held the Heat to just 98 points. While the Clippers are playing just their sixth game of 2025, this will already be the Nets' ninth game this year. It'll catch up with them against a superior opponent. Clippers roll.

With all due respect to these defenses, both of which are very good, this total is quite low. The Texans are off a 32-12 win in the Wildcard Round. They put up 429 yards of offense against a stingy Charger defense. The regular season meeting produced 46 points, a 27-19 KC victory. Last season's four Divisional Round playoff games all produced a minimum of 44 points. Houston combined with Baltimore for 44 while KC and Buffalo put up 51 points between them. The Chiefs' Divisional Rd playoff game in 2023 produced 47 points and their 2022 game finished with 78. In 2021? Sixty-two more. When these teams faced each other in the 2020 Divisional Rd playoffs, they combined for 82. They're unlikely to get that many on Saturday but I think they've got a good chance of getting at least 43. *good at 43 or better
