These franchises have both seen better days. The Jaguars are 3-11. The Raiders are 2-12. Poor defensive play has been a big part of the reason. Both teams allow 26.9 points per game. That's tied for the 5th worst mark in the NFL. The Jaguars also allow 396.4 yards per game, worst in the NFL. With only pride on the line, there's little reason to “play it safe” on Sunday afternoon. Weather, of course, isn't a factor. That's important, when playing only a few days before Christmas. Five of the past seven meetings have produced 47 or more points.
